OKC Storytelling Group to Meet Sept. 9th

West entrance, off of NW 25th
NW 25 and Classen, OKC
Join some other storytelling fans and artisans on Monday night, Sept. 9th at 7 p.m. for stories, learning, and fun.

The meeting will be held at Wesley UMC, NW 25 and Classen, and there is plenty of free parking at the rear of the church and an entrance there. The meeting will be in the community room called The Parlor.

Experienced tellers, newbies, and listeners are welcome to attend and support storytelling in Oklahoma. We will provide a link to other events in the wider storytelling community, mentoring, and training.  Will provide opportunities for storytellers to share in several types of events as well.

All types of stories, styles, and forms of storyelling will be covered, allowing members to develop and grow as artisans of the oral story.

August is OKC Storytelling Festival!

Members of the state organization, Territory Tekkers, the OKC Tellers and many friends of storytelling in Oklahoma will be on hand to enjoy this great event.  It will feature, as always, many national and international artists of the spoken word.
